What you pay, and what you earn
The program has four terms: the eligible plans, the fee per client, the free trial clients and the referral share.
- Eligible plans
- You must be on Pro, Teams or Business. Monthly and yearly billing both qualify.
- Fee per client
- $100 per client per month, for the partner portal. You pay it, not your client.
- Free trial clients
- Your first 3 clients are free for 30 days each.
- Referral share
- 20% of what each of your clients spends on Works. Only partners on a yearly plan earn the referral share.
Which clients count
A client counts for you when the client approves your invitation. If two partners invite the same client, the first approval counts.
A business that already had a Works account before your invitation does not count for the referral share.
The client's first payment must come inside the qualification window in Schedule A of the Partner Program Agreement.
The referral share is on what the client actually pays, net of refunds, credits, chargebacks and taxes.
A client that you remove does not give back its free trial.
When you are paid
Payouts start when they are available in your partner portal. Until then, the portal shows what you earned, and we pay it under a payout process that we announce.
Your name and logo
We can show your name and logo as a partner, for example in a partner directory, while the agreement is in force.
Who decides
A person on our partner team reviews every application. There is no minimum number of clients.
The Partner Program Agreement is the full set of terms. If this page and the agreement do not agree, the agreement applies.
Your partner portal shows the current values. If the portal and Schedule A of the agreement do not agree, the portal is correct for the period that it shows.
